Cut and paste Adsense privacy policy

Adsense new terms of service requirements start today, April 8, 2009 you need to add a Privacy policy to every site that carries the new style advertising (you already needed one for the regular advertising), but not many sites seem to have it.

If you don’t and Google spot that you are making use of their new interest based targeting advertising they will penalise you, probably by shutting off your advertising.

This new policy relates to their new Interest Based Targeting which is supposed to be very effective in bringing in additional Adsense revenue by taking a look at what individuals are interested in based on their searching habits and then tailoring the advertising to their interests.

In this way when they visit your site they will see advertising that is aimed more specifically at their personal interests rather than the traditional keywords and content driven advertising.

For 5 minutes work it is probably better to do as they ask rather than risk having you Adsense income shut off.
